Oh hello there, world! So much has gone on in these past few weeks months, I don't even know where to start. Probably the most notable step is that I've finally moved to San Francisco, my dream city for about the past five years. To say that it's been fun and exciting is an understatement. There's nothing quite like having your own place and in a city like this one, I feel constantly motivated, eager and all around ready for a new adventure. I feel like I have so much to say and so much to write about, but I'll save those thoughts for another day. For now, I'd like to share a few decorative items that I've been pining over:

Holy moly. I recently had way too much fun at Target (surprise, surprise). I could easily furnish my entire fictitious apartment with some of this loot. Specifically, though, these were my favorite finds...

If you haven't gathered this by now, I'm an extremely casual person. Recently, I've been describing myself as "candid," in addition to "unable to sensor myself." But another word I think describes me quite well is "cozy." There's not much I enjoy more than a good ole couch sesh complete with loose fitting clothes (or maybe just a robe), a few too many episodes of Homeland and lots of snacks. Those are some of my favorite days, especially when I'm with friends (and I assume when I'm no longer single they'll be even better curled up next to the love of my life).

As the holidays approach, I find myself scouring the Internet for potential presents for my family and friends... and of course some things to fill my own Christmas wish list. Well guys, the bachelorette party weekend was a success. We took Austin by storm and I think we're all still feeling the aftermath. Woof. It was way too amazing to see Carey, whom I haven't seen in over a year, and to bond with all of the other bridesmaids. Needless to say, I cannot imagine a better group of girls and I feel absurdly blessed to be a part of the group.

Speaking of friends, two of my bestest friends' birthdays are coming up and my dear cousin's birthday just passed. So September is a serious month of gift giving... something I absolutely love and think I'm pretty good at if I do say so myself. I've rounded up some of my favorite things floating around the Internet that remind me of some of my best friends... and who knows, maybe one of these things is a said besties' actual present (wink wink).

Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year. I have fond memories growing up, waiting for the bus with my neighborhood friends and feeling the air start to cool, drinking hot cocoa and eating grilled cheeses with my mom, cheering at football games... the list goes on. Plus, fall means my birthday is right around the corner [September 23; mark your calendars]! Though unfortunately I own none of the fabulous pieces below, I can really picture myself cuddling up with some hot cocoa a nice beer at a cozy restaurant in this outfit.

This weekend, I'm looking forward to hanging out with a bunch of really awesome Southern California bloggers at Urban Skincare. Thanks to Ms. Tammy who put this together, I'll get to meet the faces behind some of my favorite blogs! I'm also getting my hair done... ombre! It's been years since I've done anything remotely interesting to my hair so I'm pretty excited about this. Photos to come... obviously. Amanda and I also have big plans to see this movie. Exciting stuff... I know. Tehehe.

I'm completely obsessing over this post by Whitney. Between the reason for the sweet post [five year anniversary of her and her husband's first kiss swoooon], the gorgeous photos, the feastly-looking food and the adorable outfit... can't say I'm not dreaming about something like this for my future.

That question mark is not a typo. I've always always always been anti pink... for no good reason other than that I thought it looked weird on me. I have no idea what triggered this change of heart but lately, I haven't been able to get enough! The fox-printed Baggu? Mine. That neon heart sweater... also mine and only $17 from Forever 21... I'd say that's a steal compared to this $60 similar sweater from J. Crew.

As a little girl, I begged my mom to let me wear lipstick [and heeled fancy shoes for that matter]. Once the privilege was granted to me, I was kinda bummed to find out that bright pink lipstick [and blush] was just not a cute look. [Anyone remember D.J. Tanner from Full House when she first started wearing makeup? That was me.]

I desperately wanted lip color to be cool, but it just wasn't. So I settled for cherry LipSmackers. Luckily, the trends have changed as they always do and lipstick is back "in." Needless to say, my preteen self is pretty stoked.
