I wish I was exaggerating... because I'll admit I tend to do that sometimes. But really and truly, I can't walk. My friend Amanda and I did a barre class this weekend (have you guys ever tried it? holy cow.) and needless to say when I got out of bed this morning, I collapsed the the ground (true story) because my calves just couldn't handle any more activity.
Here's to getting into shape? I don't know about this...
Anyways, I'm obsessed with that graphic above... besides needing physical strength to continue my journey towards getting fit, I feel like I'm needing just a bit more strength in all aspects of my life right now. Do you ever feel like that?
{Happy Monday! I'm already excited for the three day weekend.}

I totally know what you mean, I am actually needing a little strenght to get through this day!
I have never tried a bar class but I've heard so many great things! The good news is, you muscles will thank you (eventually!), but I know the feeling. Sometimes it's hard to even sit down after workouts!
p.s. I LOVE the new header--it's so pretty!

I'm doing my first body sculpting class tonight and am half hoping I'm sore tomorrow and half not...haha. Be gentle with your body this week! :)
Yes. Yes I do. I cannot get motivated to get fit at all. Zero motivation.
Yeah I need it right now more than ever! I studying for a course and everything even myself says to me that I can't go on with studying. But I try I really try, but this course so difficult to understand.
I love the quote, so good especially for a Monday :) I'm jealous of your workout. I'm sort of a gym rat but I was sick all weekend in bed. Take care!!
I love that quote!! And I am jealous of how sore you are- you must have worked hard!! Have a happy Monday

I just found a pure barre near my house and am scared half to death by the idea but really want to try it out!
I love a good barre workout. The burn the next day always makes me feel like I've had a great workout!
oh man i've totally got to start working out. it sounds weird but i actually miss that feeling of not being able to get out of bed because you're so sore. except when you actually have to do something that day..and then it's just annoying.

i want to try barre so badly!
Okay I've heard marvelous things about it...but yes, that it is supposed to be super intense. Hmmm...maybe I should be prepared to park myself in bed for a while?
You poor thing!!! I hope you're able to walk soon. I always wanted to try a Barre class, but now I'm not so sure. Take care!

Hmm...maybe I need to try something like that! I think I have exercised a total of ZERO times since Jax was born... I hope you feel un-sore soon!
1. I hope you recover from exercise class - you're braver than me
2. I bloody love a good saying - this one is no exception
3. I Agree about sometimes needing strength, it's all about just focussing and pumping yourself up, some days is much easier than others xxxx
Oh you poor darling! I've heard that Barre will kick your booty for sure! Btw, LOVED your cozy fall post. I live for fall - always fun finding fellow kindred spirits :-). In my world, fall starts Sept. 1st, so we're almost there!!!!! - Hope you can rest up today, and that your legs will decide to start working again ;-)
I had the exact same thing happen to me after skiing an entire day without having done it in about 10 years. It took me over a week to recover! There is such a thing as overdoing it!
