...a simple girls' night in turns into a college reunion bachelorette-judging session [how absurd is that show!]
...I find liters of chocolate Zico.
...Trader Joe's has all of my favorite pre-packed salads in stock [harvest salad, anyone?]
...I find a couple of new blogs [one // two // three] that I can't stop reading.
...I get to bunny-sit for a whole MONTH. Dreams do come true!

i love days when...

..my new favorite bracelet made by Madison from The White Ruffle comes in the mail!
[Yes those are the aforementioned polka dot shorts I can't stop wearing. And yes that is a beer in my hand.]


...I'm so in love with blogging that I utilize the free WiFi in the Starbucks drive-thru in order to write a post.

...I learn all of these neat Photoshop skills... thanks to PuglyPixel.
...a blog friendship becomes a real one!

...I discover that the ice cream sandwich on URBN's menu [below] is actually the best thing ever.

...Pinterest becomes apart of my daily tasks at work.
...my day is made merely by looking up a semicolon discrepancy in my new favorite handbook.

...new projects and creative initiatives are in the works and I'm excited!

{But seriously... the ice cream sandwich... nom nom nom!}

i love days when...

...you realize your problems aren't really problems but merely obstacles.

...you get in the biggest book worm mood and dream of spending an afternoon in barnes and noble.
...your blog gets a makeover that makes you probably happier than it should.
...you get paid at midnight!

So maybe you noticed the makeover 'ole beauty and the feast got today/yesterday. Personally, I'm obsessed. It was beautifully designed by Danielle Moss, the face behind breakfast at toast, blog designer extraordinaire and co-founder of the everygirl [if you haven't read it you really really need to. like, right now]. It's kind of funny how much this blog means to me; it's actually borderline creepy. I think about it pretty much every second of the day, I have dreams about it, I want it to be perfect and I want it to succeed. i.love.it

i love days when...

I came up with this idea for a weekly entry when I was driving [and by driving I mean speeding through Vista like a crazy woman] on my lunch break. My sunglasses weren’t within my reach and I was only driving a couple of blocks back to work, but the sun was in my eyes and I could barely see. as I threw my hand up to block it, annoyed that the sun’s brightness was clouding my vision, I realized, "This is truly my only complaint today. That this day is TOO beautiful and in turn the sun is TOO bright.” Isn't that great? When you find yourself complaining about something so minute and petty, only to realize how much you really shouldn't be complaining about? So I decided that from here on out, once a week, I will post an entry entitled “I love days when…” to order to honor and appreciate the little things. That being said...

i love days when…

…my only complaint is that the sun is shining [too] much, and, god forbid, in my eyes.

…there’s no traffic on my commute home from work[!!!]

…i have something new, different and fun to look forward [cults tonight at belly up!]

...one suggestion at work is praised

...i feel completely content
